Spanish singer, conductor and piano player Víctor Sordo initially studied piano in Badajoz and afterwards choir conducting in Seville and then continued with voice training and early music performing with Lambert Climent, Lluis Vilamajó, Jan Van Elsacker, Isabel Álvarez, Miguel Bernal, Ana Luisa Chova, Graham O’Reilly, Owen Rees, Peter Phillips, Fernando Eldoro and others. As soloist his repertoire encompasses ópera (Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte, Le nozze di Figaro and Don Giovanni and Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas) and Cantata-Oratorio works (Bach’s St.John Passion, Magnificat, Weinachtsoratorium, Himmelfahrtoratorium, Cantatas, Haendel’s Messiah and Foundling hospital, Mozart’s Requiem and C Minor Mass, Haydn’s Seven Last words, Nelson Mass, etc). He colaborates with Orquesta Sinfónica de Sevilla, Le Concert des Nations, Orquesta de Cadaqués, Orquesta de la Capilla Real de Madrid, Orquesta Barroca Catalana, Vespres d’Arnadí, Forma Antiqua, Academia 1750, Obaroq, Hesperion XXI, Israel Baroque Orchestra, La Galanía, Regina Ibérica, Orquesta Sinfónica de Extremadura, Orquesta Verum, Joven Orquesta Barroca de Andalucía, and conductors Jordi Savall, Pedro Halffter, Kenneth Weiss, Aarón Zapico, Daniel Espasa, Oscar Gershensonh, Josep Vila, Fausto Nardi, Hiro Kurosaki and Manuel Coves.
