Tremolo Ensemble is characterized by energetic and virtuosic performance, and receives praise from both the audience and critics. In its relatively short time of activity, the ensemble has already been invited to perform with orchestras and ensembles like the Israeli Philharmonic Orchestra, the Netanya Kibbutz Orchestra, the Israeli Chamber Orchestra, the Israel Contemporary Players, Meitar Ensemble and Keshet Eilon. They’ve also been invited to appear in different festivals and music series including the Felicja Blumental Festival, Takatonics Festival, Israel Festival and CEME.
The ensemble performs original compositions and arrangements written specifically for it. In 2015, a concerto “Observance and Absurd” for five percussionists, was written form the ensemble by Dor Fischer, and was performed alongside the Netanya Kibbutz Orchestra and the Israeli Chamber Orchestra.
In 2015, the ensemble was invited to the international percussion festival in Costa Rica.
Recently, the ensemble received an invitation from the Percussive Arts Society to be an official representative of the organization.
Besides their work in the ensemble, its members perform as soloists and with other different ensembles in prominent halls and with leading orchestras around the world.
The Tremolo Ensemble is part of the “Multi Piano Multi Percussion” project.
It’s also part of the activities of the Israeli Percussion Center “Tremolo” located in Netanya and supported by the Netanya City Council. The center creates cultural, social and educational activities along with other cultural centers and bodies.
