Yeela Avital – Soprano
Graduated with a B.A. from the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, and an M.A. from the Academy of Music in Mainz, Germany. Nowadays she’s a lecturer in the Jerusalem Academy of Music. She’s been the winner of scholarships by the American-Israel Cultural Foundation since 1998, and in 2010 she was invited to be a judge in the foundation’s Baroque competitions. She won the prize in the International Baroque Competition held in Belgium and the best concert prize in the festival of ancient music in Croatia.
As a soloist she performs domestically and abroad in many concerts and festivals; such as the Jerusalem music chamber festival, the ancient music festival in Croatia, the York ancient music festival, the Mozart festival in Germany, London, the US and more.
She performed with the Israeli Camerata, the Israeli Chamber Music Orchestra, the Jerusalem Baroque Orchestra, the Baroquada, the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra and the Hague Royal Symphonic Orchestra. She performed as a soloist under conductors such as Andrew Parrott, René Jacobs and Matthew Halls.
