Doret Florentin – Recorders
Performed under conductors such as Ton Koopman, Jos Van Immerseel and Alfredo Bernardini, and appeared in festivals for ancient music in Israel, Greece, France, the Netherlands, the UK, Belgium, Switzerland, Poland and Germany. She plays in various chamber music ensembles like Teatro a la Moda, and the ensemble for ancient Jewish and Spanish music – Me La Amargates Tú, with which she performed in Europe and the US, and won the first prize in the Jewish music international competition in Amsterdam (2008). Recently they performed in the Israel Festival.
She received an M.A. in recorder performance from Tel-Aviv University; she continued her education in the royal conservatory in Hague and in the conservatory in Utrecht.
Additionally, she completed a B.A. in Bassoon. She won scholarships by the American-Israel Cultural Foundation (2000-2005).
She teaches in Levinsky College, Kiryat Ono Conservatory and in the music section in Kiryat Sharet high school in Holon.
